One of the wonders of the World Taj Mahal really representates India. This most famous Moghul monument was constructed by emporer Sha Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. the Construction of the Taj began 1631 and was not completed until 1653. 20000 people worked on the building. the main architect was Isa Kahn who came from Shiraz in Iran.
