INCREDABLE INDIA / WATERTRECKING IN KASHMIR

India is often said not a country but a continent. From north to south and east to west, the people are different, the customs are different, the languages are different, the country is different. There are few countries on earth with the enormous variety that India has to offer. It´s a Place that somehow gets under your skin and into your blood. Love it or hate it- you can never ignore India. It´s not an easy country to handle, and more than a few visitors are only too happy to finally get on an aircraft and fly away. Yet a year later they´llbe longing to get back. That is what happen to me. Malaria dysentery and 4 months spent- made India almost the worst country I had ever visited, and yet I got back again, and again, and again and all together I finally spent years in India and loved it. Theyares I vistied India was from 1982 to 2010 . It all comes back to the that amazing variety. India is as vast as it is crowded, as luxurious as it is awful. The plains are as flat and featureless as the Himalaya are high and spectacular, the food as terrible as it can be magnificent, the transport as exhilarating as it can be boring and uncomfortable . Nothing is ever quite the way you expect it to be!! India is far from the easiest country in the world to travel around in. It can be hard going, the powerty will get you down, Indian bureaucracy would try the patience of even a Hindu saint, the most experienced travellers find themselves at the end of their tempers at some point in India - YET IT`S ALL WORTH IT!! Velcome to travel with me in my world of photos of a fantastic country both harsh and beautiful
